Waitlist
How to get on the list.
Puppies from our program are rarely available outside of the waitlist. Our waitlist moves at the pace of nature: breeding best practices, health, timing, and a little luck. Most families wait several months, so joining as early as you can is the best way to find the puppy you're hoping for sooner.

Apply
We start with a written application: tell us about your home, your past dog experience, and what you're hoping for. We try to write back within a couple of days.

Review & approval
We'll review your application for suitability, confirm an accept or decline, and give you an estimate of when a puppy meeting your preferences is expected to be available. This all happens by email, so there's no phone call to schedule. Your approval email also includes our current pricing, so you'll know the number before you reserve.

Reservation fee
Once you're approved, a $300 reservation fee secures your spot on the waitlist. It's applied toward the final price of your puppy.
After your reservation
Once your reservation is in, here's what comes next.
When a litter is ready for your spot on the list, we email you the puppies that match the preferences you gave us. From that message you have 48 hours to add a $200 deposit and accept one of them, or to pass and stay on the list for a later litter if nothing is quite right. Paying the deposit is how you accept, and the puppy contract makes it official, so you're added to a private album where you can watch them grow, week by week, until pickup.

Joining a list takes a little faith. Here's what a few families have told us since bringing their puppy home:

Terms & conditions
- Reservation date sets your place. Your position on the waiting list is set by the date your reservation arrived. Each person added joins the bottom of the list and moves up as placements are made or customers leave the waitlist. Within a given litter, you are only offered puppies that match the preferences you gave us; if none of them do, you keep your position for the next litter, while the puppies from the current litter are placed with people below you on the list. Two things can move a puppy out of list order: we pick first from each litter ourselves, as described below, and approved breeding partners purchasing a puppy with full AKC registration may be given priority in the pick order.
- Reservation fee. The reservation fee to join our paid waiting list is $300.00.
- Conservative wait-time estimate. Before your reservation fee is paid, we will give you a conservative waiting-time estimate for the puppy you would like, so you have an understanding before you join the list of what the wait is likely to be. If we do not have a puppy for you within the estimated time frame you were given, and you no longer wish to stay on the list, we will return your $300.00 reservation fee in its entirety.
- Voluntary withdrawal. If for any other reason you no longer wish to be on the waiting list, you will receive a prompt refund of $200.00 (your original reservation fee less a $100.00 admin fee).
- Conversion to a non-refundable deposit. When we contact you that you're next to choose, you have 48 hours to decide: add $200.00 to accept a specific puppy from that litter, or pass and stay on the list for the next litter with no penalty. Paying the $200.00 within that window is how you accept, so deciding and paying happen in the same step. The $200.00 converts your reservation into a non-refundable deposit on that puppy, and the full $500.00 is then applied toward the final price of your puppy at pickup. If we haven't heard from you by the end of the 48 hours, we move on to the next family on the list.
- If pricing changes. Food, veterinary care, and transportation all get more expensive over time, and our pricing follows. If ours changes while you're waiting, we'll tell you before anything further is due, and if you'd rather not continue, we refund your reservation.
- Adding to the waiting list. Each application is reviewed. Approved applicants are added to the waiting list once the reservation fee has been received.
- Breeder picks first. As the breeder, we reserve the right to pick first from each litter, to preserve, improve, and continue our lines of exceptional dogs.
